  1. Ooh so many choices!

    My faves are;

The Lake District - I had a great long birthday weekend here... http://www.cottages4you.co.uk/uce/c4y?la...

Norfolk - Long weekend earlier this year, stayed in the Wash House...http://www.blakeneyboltholes.co.uk/norfo...

New Forest is great too!  And Loch Lomond...

Got loads of other ideas if you are up for camping?

  2. Cornwall is NOT in England but try the lake district and Peak disrtict in the North.

    Absolutely mind blowingly beautifull.

  3. It depends what kind of things you like to do and how far you're prepared to travel.

I'm guessing though that you're somewhere in the South East judging from where you've been, so maybe somewhere within about 3 or 4 hours from there.

Derbyshire is lovely and if you like walking then that's a great place to go and visit.

East Anglia is good - you could visit West Stowe Iron Age village (if you're into that kind of thing)

Do you like Castles?  Leeds Castle in Kent is great.

    Isle of Wight

HMS Victory - never been personally but would love to.

The Cotswolds, walking, pubs, people watching!

Dorset - Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, the Cerne Abbas Giant, the smallest pub in the UK etc

Wookey Hole - cave system in Somerset.  Also pick up some excellent cider when you're in the area.

check out the link to get some other ideas.

I sometimes join English Heritage for a year and that comes in really useful if you like visiting castles and stately homes, and you can usually get in free when they have their reinactment days which are worth going to.

    whatever you do, have fun.
