I know i asked his question before, but no one answered, and i need some really serious help!!

i have to write a paper in which i compare and contrast myself to a character from one of two books. i chose maximum ride: school's out forever. i know you can't tell me what to do (i'm not asking for that) i'm asking you how you would go about writing this paper. it needs to be 300-500 words. not a big deal. but i don't know how to write it- or even start it, for that matter. but, please, please help me! thanks!

normally, i wouldn't ask for help writing an essay due to the fact that i love reading and writing. but i'm really not good at writing things like this. i'd much rather write about something i like.

ohk, thanks so much!

  1. Break it up into sections:

1st paragraph-introduce what book and character you chose--introduction

    2nd-compare

(transition--while there are many similarities there are some differences...)

    3rd-contrast

4th-wrap it up--conclusion...make sure you dont add any new information here

    btw--i loooooove that book!

  2. First off, if you're going to compare yourself to a character, make sure that you aren't overly modest with yourself, that's the first rule of writing or talking about yourself. Don't pick a character just because you like them. For instance, my favourite character in South Park is probably Eric Cartmen, but I'm probably a little more like Stan.

Lets say that you're a great artist, but incredibly stubborn, and so is the character. Don't lie to yourself and say "I'm not a great artist..." or "I'm NOT stubborn" If you KNOW that you're like that character, just pick them. I have never read the book that you're talking about, so I can't really help much other than that, but since I love writing I figured I'd answer this (This is the only writing question I've found out of like 100 algebra questions, and I don't know how to do algebra, so this was all fun :D)

Actually, in all fairness I think that "Leah's" answer was better than mine. Go with that.

  3. Brainstorm ideas and write it down on paper
