my fiance and i arent planning a big wedding and we are just going to take a weekend trip to Las Vegas to get married. because we cant really afford a big wedding. so i am looking around for a white dress to wear to get married in. but i dont want to wear a long white dress. i just want something nice. nothing to skimpy. i dont want to pay to much. i was thinking about going to the deb store at the end of september since that is when they put out the homecoming dresses. but i want to get some ideas of what kind of style i want. and i want to get a price in mind. any ideas of other places to look! and a website!?!?!

  1. There are plenty of options!  Everyone has some good ideas... here are some more...

    http://www.macys.com/

    http://www.target.com/

  2. Try Dilards or Macy's would  be really good.

Deb is good to... Well the one i went to a long time ago.

but I would suggest a knee lengh dress.. halter/strapless would be nice.

also what you could look for would be more of a tapered dress that will be short at front and then get longer in the back.

    Good luck...

  3. I personally LOVE JCrew weddings and parties for a little more casual looking wedding dresses.  They are all so pretty and most of their cocktail dresses come in shades of white or ivory (if you want to be a little more traditional).

    Good Luck!

Good luck shopping! Unbelievable prices on other dresses/outfits at Sears, too!

  5. macys

    jc penny

    sears

any depeartment store or their web sites would have white dresses

  6. http://www.debshops.com/Fashion/ViewDeta...

thats the only white dress on the deb website right now, do you like how that looks? You could try a halter, they are very cute. Look at deb, they have very good dresses. A white medium halter should be pretty easy to find!

  7. My sister got her wedding dress, a long ivory dress with a chiffon overlay, on the clearance rack at Macy's.  She paid all of $30 for it.  Since all the summer stuff is on clearance right now--you might REALLY luck out, and find something on clearance.

  8. Seriously, I'm a little creative!! I'm not actually a yard sale person, but this weekend a girlfriend convinced me to go yard saleing and you would not believe how many people were selling thier wedding dresses. I saw some really nice ones that you could possibly fix up or cut up!! Anyways it's just a thought!!! Good luck

  9. www.BridalOnlineStore.com they start as low as 99$ most sales are 80% off and if you want something nice http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresses/ga... you can try something that looks like that one theres always beautiful vintage gowns in thrift stores and yard sales

  10. I answered something like this a couple days ago. I went online and got an Alfred Angelo look alike for less than $100, fit to my size, we had a huge wedding so that would not proubly work for you, but they are always really good priced. My gown was long, so that is what I meant by not working, anyway, check your local Goodwill, I know someone had already worn it, but for the price, who cares, if you are not into that just have it cleaned. Also, I agree with the girl, go check out vacation club websites before you even go, there is a (timeshare) offering rooms in vegas for about $99 for four days, you sit through their speach, but save a ton, just don't buy. My husband and I did that on our honeymoon, we went the US Virgin Islands, got a $100 to spend their and all we paid for was the tickets, which were less than $200. It takes only 90 min of your time, but saves you a c**p load. Good LUCK

  11. You could always make your own dress or find someone that will do it for free. that way you can make it however you want. and you dont have to have a perfect dress, itts not about what you look like, its getting married and getting closer to your fiance

  12. davids bridal is doing there $99 dress sale, or you could try ebay, i know a lot of girls that go there's on ebay with the same prob you have. i went to vegas for my honeymoon, if you run into people asking you to go do a tour of there "new resort" do it!!! say NO to everything, but you WILL get free show tickets, free food tickets and/or free hotel room!!! we got over $200 in free stuff and didn't buy anything. but really, check out ebay.
