Need some wedding advice?

Question

my fiance and i are huge baseball fans and we want to get married at a baseball stadium. the problem is we love different teams, mine is the giants and his is the diamondbacks, were getting married in az but i want to include my team too. is there a way to include 2 different teams and different colors in our wedding? any ideas on how to include both? i want my bridesmaids in orange and he wants his groomsmen in red will it look silly to have my side black and orange and his side red and grey?

any advice or suggestions would be great

Maybe you can do flowers in the colors of your teams. I would go with an overall theme... I'm not so sure about the different sides different colors thing. Maybe you can have a brides and groom's cake of your teams, or tablecloth colors. Little touches would be cute.

If you're not having a real formal wedding...you could put the groomsmen in Diamondback jerseys and the Bridesmaids in Giants womens jerseys.  Every team has different styles of jerseys, so you could pick the jerseys that don't clash together. In your case, you wouldn't have specific wedding colors, more like a theme.  It sounds like you will have a fun wedding!!!

Its your day hon do what you want to do.   I think it sounds like fun. You can incorporate the two different teams at the reception with decorations etc.

hmm.. how about making a custom cake topper the groom dressed in his teams uniform and the bride in hers... (i dontk now how to make a link but there is a pic of something similar..)

I think it would be cute if you had your girls with your teams colours and his men in his teams colours.

You could have your girls in black dresses with orange flowers or sashes. and his could wear grey vests and have red flowers on their lapels.

If you're doing a sit down dinner you could have the team logos or colours included on table settings. The brides family and guests can sit at the Giants tables and his guests and family can sit at the diamondbacks tables.

Maybe in your bouquet you could include a charm or item of some sort relating to your team.
