I applied for a Detentions Deputy position. I noticed on line that I would be submitted to a a computer voice stress analysis (CVSA). What kinds of questions do they ask? I've never committed a felony or anything like that, but I smoked pot when I was in high school school (who hasnt) and I smoked a 2 times over the last year. (just a few hits) I'm 40 now. Should I be honest on when I smoked? and should I also disclose this on my personal history statement? How accurate are these tests? I'm kinda freaking out

ONLY THOSE WHO KNOW THE ANSWERS PLEASE REPLY. IF ANYONE GIVES THESE TESTS.. EVEN BETTER!

  1. The best answer to this question is to be truthful. The CVSA is a mix of the old PSE (Pyschological Stress Evaluator) and the Lie Detector test.
