Need suggestions for ~$120 tiny lightweight digital camera using regular batteries .?

Camera will be taken on a one month backpacking trip. Must be tough and very light. Thanks!

  1. buy a camera from a major retailer like best buy or circuit city and then return it after your trip... many do that!

    If you can spring for an extra $40 ($160), I would recommend the Canon 590 is, which includes image stabilization, and many features you won't find on other entry level cameras in the same price range. Excellent options in manual controls.
