Need things to do at a luau party cant swim though are party is in a month need ideas quick?

we are inviting 30 people and we r having it at a building used for parties it is in a small town we are alao having a lock in boyz and girlz

when decorating take some colorful cheap flip flops and tie balloons to them, its cute and u can  move them. also you cant get leis and cut them so instead of circles they're just a string, then use that to border your tables.

- Bright table covers, then grass skirting around the tables

- Hibiscus flowers

- Pineapples and coconuts

- Leis for everyone

- Coconut cups and paper umbrellas for drinks (you can get cheap plastic ones)

For activities, you can play ukeleke or steel drum music in the background.  Play limbo, have a hula contest (it's great if you get a few guys to volunteer, then give them grass skirts and coconut bras to wear!).  You could make shell necklaces, decorate flipflops, karaoke to Beach Boys music, etc.  There are tons of ideas.  Just get creative.  You don't need a pool for a great luau!  :)

In addition to everyone's great ideas...you could set up a fun course for the children. Take water tubes and create a fun obstacle course =D. Set up different stations that allow children to do different things like make or decorate luau attire, or cut outs of flip flops. Use a blow up pool and fill it with sand and hide gifts and prizes in it for games. You could even set up a drink station with fun glasses to decorate and fill them with juices. Use creative ideas that have a lot of color and vibrancy to them. For the lock in, create a night hunt and use glow in the dark "tropical" things like fish or other types of decorations for more games. You could have a fun dance off or impressions game where you just have time to act silly and enjoy. Maybe even buy white t-shirts and let the kids decorate them.

Luaus are always great fun! Be creative and enjoy!
