Normally i drive about 260-280 yards, but lately on all of my drives, they have been going very low, or even hitting the tee box and bouncing out. But i am hitting it right in the center of the club every time and it goes straight, its just really low, if you have any tips please provide them.

  1. It is nice to find another golfer who hits the ball as far as Tiger and Vijay. Apparently all of them are on the Internet. So if you have the talent to hit he ball that far why do you need to hit the ball higher? Or in the interim, have you lost your swing ? From the sounds of things you are taking an improper stance and placing the ball too far back. Move it slightly toward the lead foot and start hitting it on the upswing.

  2. Try teeing the ball up higher or play it off closer to your front heel.

    Have a good one...

  3. Hi,

Try looking at the videos here.

    Good luck

  4. Put the ball further up in your stance and open your shoulders more to the target.

  5. What I’ve noticed is if I catch the ball lower down in the face of the driver, the ball will fly low, catch well up in the face and it flies nice and high.

  6. Hi, i am 16 and probably not as strong as you, i am off 13 but my drives are pretty long and straight.

if you want to get a more higher trajectory try and tee up the ball a little higher and on your back swing keep the the club face as low to the ground as possible.

this could well result in you hitting it higher and a little bit sweeter. (hopefully lol)

  7. Use a higher lofted club. A slower swingspeed aloing with a lower-lofted club will tend the ball to be lower.

  8. I've seen this problem my self.....To cure it I went to a teaching pro.....

( and I am one) To solve it....you can't see what you are doing wrong but another set of eyes can.  The corrections are simple once you know what is actually happening in your swing.
