Ok, I just got my hair dyed at the salon yesterday..

They said that they were going to make my hair a little lighter than my original hair colour, which is medium brown.

It turned out dark brown!!!

Then, I got my hair cut their.. all I said to them is that I wanted my side bangs re-cut, and a trim; because I am trying to grow my hair out.

SO, what does he do??????

He makes my have short side-swept bangs, that are all differnent legnths, cuts two inches off my hair, and gives me horrible layers!!!

Its like a hair cut for someone who is 25!! Im 13!!!

I cant even put my hair in a pony-tail anymore, cause when I do, my layers fall out!!

I dont feel like me anymore.. I cried for like 4 hours because of what he did to my hair.

Oh, and school is starting in 6 days for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have any help on how I can try to make my hair colour fade really fast, before Tuesday, and how I could style my hair, so it wouldnt look as bad??

Thanks so much.. you have no idea how much this means to me.

  1. What about extensions? Maybe real hair ones (like clip-on ones) if you can afford them so you can style them. That's the only thing I can think of for your hair cut dilemma.

As for the hair colour I bet it suits you you will just have to take time to get used to it. Although if you definitely want to fade it my friend used Head And Shoulders shampoo and conditioner (just the normal one not the colour protect one) and within a week her hair went from blue black to medium brown.

Also try to get a new hairdresser at a different shop. People always tell me men cut hair better but I find woman listen to what you want more as they would hate to be in your situation themselves.

Oh one last thing! If your hair is longer enough try some loose plaits (plites) on in your hair (one at each side) 'cause they look cool with your hair messy and your layers falling down etc.

    I'm thirteen too BTW.

Maybe leave your hair the same colour and see what people think but good luck anyway!

Edit: My friend washed her hair everyday.

    Hope I helped!

  2. aww i know what you mean. wash your hair everyday but DONT use color shampoo becausee that will make the color stay in. If you straighten your hair it makes it looks longer.

  3. I would wash it every day. Wash it with full strengh Head and Shoulders, or a clarifying shampoo. It will help strip some of the color out. Also, during the weekend, go out! get in the sun, go to the beach. That takes color even more. (been there)

About the haircut..not too much you can do about that. Use bobby pins, head bands, pull your hair back. Before you know it, it will start growing back.

  4. Omg, the same thing happened to me a couple of hours ago,

    I'm 14 btw

I got my hair cut today, and dyed. And guess what?, I asked for my original hair colour back ( I dyed it a year ago a muddy red colour) and my original hair colour is dark chestnut. But guess what colour it turned out? BLACK! School is in 2 days and its black!!! So then I thought I wouldnt kill the stylist as long as he gave me a good cut. But no, my bangs are now choppy, and my layers suck.

So I re-cut my bangs myself, the way i like them. I've learned no one gets it right but me. I re-cut my layers, so it looks like i have a short cut when i tie m hair upand the layers fall out around my face. Its pretty. I took one picture from a hairstyle magazine and coppied the hairstyle to the short layers. You may not trust yourself to do it, but really it can't get any worse. Now I kinda like the cut. A little.

And to fade it, I hear using dish washing soap works.  But it's harsher and might make your hair dry. So you have to decide between dry hair and dark hair. Leave the detergent in for 30 minutes and the color should be faded. If not, rinse and repeat, as much as possible.

Don't fret too much, looking 25 iat the age of 13 sn't as bad as looking 80.

Good Luck. :) I hope we both have our hair the way we want it for back to school.

    P.S. Don't go back there.
