Need to be musical to go into music management?

I want to go a school for music management (possibly Berklee) but I do not sing or play any musical instruments. Can I still go into this major without being musically talented?

It's business-oriented. I think overall, its probably beneficial to be able to recognize those with musical talent. No, you DO NOT NEED to be musical, but rather, you do need to be able to recognize and appreciate those that are and use your business and schmoozing skills to help them.

Every student at Berklee has a principle instrument, regardless of their major.  Unfortunately for non-musicians, this means Berklee's curriculum is inaccessible.

The idea is to build upon a culture in which all people, in every facet, support and understand music on a fundamental level. This, in turn, will open clear channels of communication among performers, producers, composers, alongside managers, promoters, executives, etc..

By doing this, Berklee is bridging a divide that has been a burden to the artists and creative talent behind the music of the past century.  

My recommendation to you, if Berklee is what you absolutely desire, is to find an instrument and play.

Two years of focused dedication to an instrument, guided instruction, and good grades will open the doors to Berklee. More importantly, it will shed light on one of the greatest tools available to humankind: music.
