Need to buy a plunger? Where and what brand works well?

  1. I've never bothered to look at brand names.

    Just get the one with the black rubber cup on the wooden stick. Do NOT get one of the plastic ones.

    Look for one at a real hardware store, maybe a Lowes or Home Depot. The ones at the supermarket usually don't last and probably cost more.

  2. To get a good drain cleaner, go to a plumbing supply store, not Lowe's or Home Depot, and buy Easyflow Draing opener $10 This stuff really works !!  It may smoke when you put it in, Don't breath it ! Read and follow directions !!  Drano and Liquid Plumber are Kool Aid next to this stuff !!

  3. I don't think the plunger is the problem. You may need your pipes cleaned. Check with a plumber or find a friend with a "snake".
