Need to buy some number plate surrounds - what is "lipped" and what is "normal"??

Take a look at that website, they mention lipped and normal surrounds. What is the difference between them?? Picture examples would be good! What are the surrounds in the picture on that webpage - lipped or normal?

It makes no difference to your car.The lipped are just curved around the edges the normal ones are flat.

the link shows lipped surroungs...simply rounded off,no square edges.
