Need to change CDL class B to an class A endorsement? what needs to be done?

I currently have a CDL License with B endorsement, I now need a class A endorsement, I am in Michigan, what is it I will need to do, to get it changed?

Federal regs, not just Michigan:

1) You will need to take a knowlege (written) test, and possibly wait 15 days to obtain a permit

2) Take a pre-trip inspection test in a combination vehicle.

3) Take a parking lot skills test in a combination vehicle.

4) Take a road test in a combination vehicle.

. Same if you didn't have air brakes endorsement, and wanted to "upgrade".
