Hey, is there a way to connect an old coaxial VCR to a S-video slot? If there is a cable or adapter to let me do this, please post a link to a page with more information.

  1. No there is not.  The RF signal is modulated, so you need a tuner to get it.

If your TV has only one RF input, you can get an RF mux from Radio Shack.  If not, you really need a new VCR with composite/s-video output.

  2. There is an adapter you can get at Radio shack.

But there is an easier way:

You know those plug ins that are colored white, yellow & red?

Just use RCA jacks and plug them into both appliances. Even the old VCRs have those.

If you don't understand, email me and I will explain it better.
