Need to create a Physics prac on length of antenna and signal strength... IDEAS?

I am required o create a physics practical on how the length of a recieving antenna affects the signal of whatever is being transmitted. I was thinking to use water waves, but how? or any other ideas?

Do a web search for Beverage Antenna theory, it should give you lots of useful information.

You could look at the work of Guglielmo Marconi as he did experiments that showed radio waves with longer wavelengths penetrate further and longer aerials are more effective for producing penetrating radio waves.

Perhaps you could measure the decibel levels from a radio at certain aerial lengths with one of those old school extendable aerial radios.

Keep the channel the same and the volume the same.
