  1. Here are some safe ways to caramelize sweetened condensed milk. Once it's cooled you could fold in some whipped cream, if you need to use cream, or you could add liquid cream to make a glaze, but I'm not sure if it would set up.

    To Caramelize sweetened condensed milk:

Oven method; Pour 1 can sweetened condensed milk into 9 inch pie plate. Cover with foil; place in larger shallow pan. Fill larger pan with hot water. Bake at 425 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until thick and caramel colored. Beat until smooth.

Stovetop Method: Pour 1 can condensed milk into top of double boiler; place over boiling water. Over low heat, simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until thick and caramel colored. Beat until smooth.

Microwave Method: Pour 1 can condensed milk into 2 quart glass measure. cook on 50 % power (medium) for 4 minutes, stirring briskly every 2 minutes until smooth. cook on 30% power (medium-low) 12-18 minutes ot until very thick and caramel colored, stirring briskly every 2 minutes until smooth.

    CAUTION; NEVER HEAT UNOPENED CAN

  2. Are you talking about Better Than s*x cake?

You bake a cake in a 9x13 cake pan, while it is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon and make holes every 2 inches, then pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the cake, then a jar of caramel ice cream topping over that and let cool, place in fridge.

  3. This sounds tasty!

You've a few good answers with which I agree.

Also---the reason why I post is to get advice in order to get keep me from both suffering and wanted to end my life. That is why I post those questions again and again.

  4. You can heat an unopened can on top of the stove. Use a deep pan & cover the can with at least 3 inches of water, put a lid on the pan & high simmer it for 3 hours. Do not let the water level drop, add water as necessary. Let the can cool to room temperature and then open.

I have done this countless times.
