Need to find Pic of a Wedding Cake SOON! Please Help!!?

Hi Everyone,

Did anyone see the show "Wedding Cake Masters" on WE TV channel in April of this year?? On that show they had a cake by BRONWEN WEBER from FROSTED ART BAKERY in Dallas. She did a huge pink wedding cake made with fondant. I am in the Los Angeles area and want to have a cake made similar to that one, but I can't find a pic of it anywhere!! I recorded the show on my direct tv DVR....but I don't have a way to get the recorded show onto DVD. So I'm stuck with no way to show bakers what I want my cake to look like. Any ideas??? My wedding is 9 weeks away!

I did not see it but I found a couple of sites, also HIT GOOGLE,and then images, they should pop up. Check out the We website as well as hers, but make sure you hit the images button when you google.

Play it on your tv, pause it (or not), and take several pictures of it with a digital camera (most people have digital cameras these days). You can show that to the baker, and put them on a disk for the baker to keep as a reference.

Sure, there will be that big blurry line thing on the screen - but that is why you take several pictures - it is often in a different place on the screen. Your baker will get a very good idea from the pics.

I've done this with things I've wanted to give people an idea of both on the tv and the computer. It isn't perfect, but it works!

take photos of your tv on pause of the cake.  Make sure sunlight and lights are not reflecting on the tv and dont use a flash.

or go through their cakes and see if they have a photo of it here

I gaurantee that if you call just about any bakery, someone there has seen and recorded the show.  I know the exact cake you're talking about-(BEAUTIFUL!) and I'm sure that the wedding cake people worship that show, and they probably have it on their TIVO or DVR.  You can go to the www.forstedart.com website, but that cake isn't on there.  Just call around, and find someone who has seen the show and has time to make that cake.  At this point, finding someone who has the time to do it may be the hardest part.  Good luck!!!
