I have a credit card from when I was 18 that I went overboard on and now I'm paying for it...forever. My credit score due to my ex-husbands terrible credit is not that great. It went from 720 to 640 in a matter of 3 months! So what I want to know is does anyone know of a good credit card to apply for a balance transfer with not so good credit. I am trying desperatly to improve it so I can actually buy things later in life!! I need a good place who will approve you no matter what but is a decent compnay! Thanks for any info!!

  1. Orchard Bank or First Premier are probably the best choices.  They both offer cards for bad/low credit with low APR's.  Just make sure no matter what you do you pay your credit card bills on time.  This way you don't have to worry about your APR.  Use applyfastbankcards to apply you will get paid money for any card you apply for:)  Good luck.

  2. i would recommend orchard bank but it dont appear that you have terrible credit a 640 isnt as terrible as you may think so you should just continue to make yo payments on yo card and the lower your balance is the more your credit score will increase.

  3. your husbands credit cant affect you unless you were both on the card

  4. Pretty much any card company has cards for those with less than sterling credit. Just take a look online and see who offers the most favorable interest rates. Even if the rates are initially higher the main idea is to keep your account in tip top shape. Apply for a card (even a secured one w/Capital One) and use the card sparingly. Always pay balance in full.

  5. It may be difficult for you to find a good credit card with that score, although not impossible.  Citi or chase would be your best bet.  Citi has a pretty relaxed criteria for approval of applications. Citi cash has 0% for 12 month and also offers a cash back rewards, chase also has a 12 month 0%.
