Need to get Portuguese Birth Certificates for my Kids?

Question

I need to renew my kids passports but was told they now need to have ID cards before they can get new passports. To get their id`s I need to get birth certificates from Portugal and was told by the embassy in london to do this online. Unfortunately my Portuguese is not that great and the website is all in Portuguese. Can anyone tell me which link on the website to click on and what next. ur kids r portuguese but u dont know portuguese????either u or ur wife must be portuguese...

Birth, marriage and death certificates can be directly requested and paid by credit card to the Portuguese Civil Registration Services through the site www.portaldocidadao.pt (please enter "certidoes"in the search template - "pesquisar" -and click on "certidao de nascimento" to access the request for birth certificates, "certidao de casamento"for marriage certificates or "certidao de obito" for death certificates).
