There is a water snake (skinny, maybe 1/2 m. long) in my koi pond, and he's eating my fish! We got him out once and brought him down the road to a vernal pool w/ plenty of other things to eat in there, but he still found his way back to my pond! He hides in the rocks and bushes...we usually only see him if he's in the process of gulping down one of the fish! How can we get him out?!

Thanks!!

  1. There is no need to hurt or kill the snake - if you catch it again don't just dump it a couple of miles away coz it will come back to where it knows there are fish. you need to relocate it somewhere where there is plenty of fish and it will live there happily

  2. call animal control so that they can get the snake out before it gets injured or it injures you. they are trained and know what to do and will relocate it so it will not get tangled up in some other mess involing humans again.

  3. get a professional snake catcher all when it half eatern the fish go get it it carnt bite then put it into a pillow case

  4. next time you catch him either kill him or drive him out like 10 miles away

  5. There is no need to kill it.  All it's doing is eating to stay alive, so why would you kill it?  It doe not care how much you payed for the Koi, he is just trying to not starve.

Catch it and take it like 15 minutes away.

  6. catch it and kill it. if it kills your fish give it a taste of its own medicine

  7. use your pond net to catch him or cover up your pond with chiken wire and take the snake to a local shelter or euthanize it.

  8. well dont kill the poor thing catch it and bring it to a local pet store or something. JUST DONT KILL IT! PLEASE i love snakes they r awesome
