Question:

Need to get out of Jury Duty in Ohio, help?

I got the notice today to appear for jury duty in December... for the whole month if they need me! Problem is that may be impossible for me. I stay at home and take care of my 2 year old and go to school online. We can't afford to pay for alternative childcare. What should I do? Do you think they'll let me out of it? Let me know if you've had a similar experience please and what you did.... or if you are a legal pro, what do you think?

  1. I know you could tell them that you are racist (and maybe you are. How do I know?)... that always works.

Sometimes if you explain your situation they'll let you out.

  2. read on the back of the notice the cases that you can be excluded.

If none applies to you, then go to court on the designated date and speak up your mind...your twisted mind that is.

If they see you cannot tolerate many ills of the society and are not sympathetic to criminals, they'll let you go.

    Good luck

  3. Bring your kid down there with you

  4. I live in NH, and a couple of years ago was called to jury duty over an hour away and it was going to last a week or two. I told them I had no child care for my 3 kids, one vehicle for my hubby to get to work, and could not stay there for that long.  I got excused.
