Need to get xbox 360 online without buying wireless router! I'm with talktalk broadband only got 1 router!

Question

Hey,

I'm with talktalk broadband and at the moment have 1 starter pack. I now have an xbox 360 and looking to set that up upstairs, I have a telephone point there and was wondering if i would be able to get another starter pack from talktalk free of charge? Or if there was any other possible way of getting my plug thing upstairs to have talktalk broadband as well?

Sorry for the vagueness but i really have no knowledge in this area!

Sounds like you are going through DSL. You can only have 1 DSL connection in a household. You will either have to run up an ethernet (RJ45) cable from the router they gave you, or if it is wireless, to buy the X360 wireless adapter and set that up. Unfortunately, there's no other way of doing that.

Now I"m not sure if the starter pack gave you a router, if not, you could pick one up for cheap at Best Buy/Futureshop/CompUSA whatever electronics store is in your country.
