Need to go from crydon to liverpool, what is the best way, do not drive?

I am coming from the states and this is my frist time going to Liverpool going to P&O ferry to Dublin

Do you mean from Croydon in London?

If so I would say the train from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street .

The train journey will take just over two and a half hours.

When you get to Liverpool I would imagine a cab to the ferry terminal would be about £5 ish.

If you can get an advance ticket for the train,you will save a lot of money.
