Need to know What do housekeeping clerk(Hotel) does?pls help?

Not sure which Hotel you are applying to? But in general Housekeeping department in Hotel is responsible for all the equipment and consumables items in the hotel room and general compound. Chamber maids that clean the rooms everyday, technicians to maintain the toilets and electrical appliances comes under this very important department.

As the "clerk", I suppose that you will handle the daily paper work or administrative work involved in supporting the Housekeeping department. It may involved submission of request for purchases, inventory monitoring, staff records etc.

It will be best if you could call up the Hotel and speak with the recruitment department/person in charge, I am sure they will give you a more detailed job description.
