Need to know about the tween girl today?

Question

So I have a job interview at Limited Too, tomorrow and when I went to turn in my application, and the guy asked me a couple of questions.

One of them was "What do you know about the 'tween' girl today?"

And I of coursed bummed my way though it, being shy and saying "Oh well, not too much! Just what I remember from when I was that age. Just that they all really look up to us older girls, so I think it's great when teen-aged girls work here".

Are there any tween girls that can help me out here?

I just really want to be prepared for any other tween questions that might come my way..

Well I am a teenager, but with my experiences through middle school:

'Tweens' are obsessed with high-priced name-brand things like Juicy Couture.

There Parents spoil them

They like boys,Miley Cyrus,and the Jonas Brothers.

most thoughts that come to adults when thinking about tween girls of today are txting, IMing, boy craziness and buying into Disney's mediocre products like Hannah Montana

however the one thing almost all tween girls have in common is that tween girls like to feel all grown up when they definitely aren't

In regards to your situation what you probably could have said was:

Tween girls are very active. I know many play sports and many are very girly. They are always trying to be fashionable and can't wait to grow up. They look at magazine's and friends for the latest fashion. They are very impressionable. They love the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Ipods, and Disney.
