Need to know how long to deep fry boneless chicken breast?

I normally bake it, but I have a craving for fried chicken this time... please help!

  1. I suggest cutting the breast into strips and frying until golden brown.  You have to maintain the oil temp just right for larger pieces or they might not get completely cooked inside.  A meat thermometer is important when cooking larger pieces of chicken.


  2. I'd split it in half horizontally, to make it thinner, then braed and fry about 3-5 minutes in oil that is abou t350-365ºF.

  3. It will need to be floured and breaded. Then lower into oil at about 375F until it floats on the top of the oil...just a few minutes.

    Allow to drain on a rack--carry over cooking will finish the meat.

  4. Deep fry for about 3 minutes. IF your oil is very hot the chicken b*****s will cook quickly.
