  1. It's usually bid by the square foot of wall. You will need to call your suppliler and establish an account. Acquaint yourself with a salesman and get the standard working prices that you will be working with.

    Do you know how many square feet of this you can do inone man hour. You need that number. If you don't know it off the top of your head you can go to Home Depot and get the book for residential contracting estimating. It's an R.S. Means publication. You can use that number. As I recall what you can get for the labor is between  16 and 20 cents a square foot for insulation, or whatever you can get for it. The vapor barrier is probably around 6 or 8 cents a foot. Materials are whatever they cost you plus the 10 to 20% markup you need for handling. Be sure to change the numbers when the job looks different. You have to get paid for your work and if you get bogged down on a difficult job you will not earn what you need to stay in business over the long haul.
