Need to know how to remove a fair amount of melted candle wax from glass table top and from broadloom. Thanks?

In both cases use a plastic credit card to remove the majority of the wax. Then on the glass you can use the hair dryer method mentioned before and finish with a glass cleaner containing ammonia.

For the broadloom, after removing the majority of the wax with the credit card heat up an iron to a safe setting for the broadloom, place folded paper towels over the wax, place the iron on the paper towels and let the melted wax go into the towels. Use clean paper towels and repeat until all the wax is gone.

Razor blade for the glass.

For the broadloom cut an paper bag open, (grocery bags work best), put the bag on the wax, then iron it, you will see the wax on the bag, keep ironing with new pieces of the bag till its gone.

Here's an easy tip: Get a blowdryer and turn it on medium hit and re-melt the candle wax til it becomes a liquid and wipe it clean with a towel.  Be careful not to burn yourself. Good Luck!

if it was winter, I would say put it out in the cold. Best way to get wax off glass or pottery is to get the item cold. You can pick it off easily. My next choice would be a razor, though that is tedious. As far as carpet, with some cheaper rugs, you can scrape it off with a razor- basically cutting it off.

I'm not for sure if it will work on a glass table top, but I have used this trick to get candle wax off of a carpet before....

Place a paper towel over the candle wax.  Get an iron hot and iron over the paper towel.  It will melt the wax enough to lift it up.  I'd be careful using a razor blade on a glass table top as it may scratch.

Melt it using a hairdryer or something, then wipe it up!
