Question:

Need to know if I'm progressing too slow as a skateboarder

Ive been skateboarding a little more than two weeks and i have been practicing about an hour a day and can ollie about a foot high almost every time and every time i shuv-it i land with only one foo ton the board and i want to know if I'm progressing too slow or if I'm doing fine or what?

  1. Your doing fine but you lied when you said you can ollie a foot high. No one can ollie that high in just 2 weeks.


  2. You're doing fine, it took me like 6 monthes to learn how to Ollie, Kickflip, Shuvit / Pop Shuvit all together.

    Idk about you, but it takes my body quiet some time to get rid of the fear of falling when I learn new tricks. =P

    Here's a tip, if you have a fear of slipping off when you land. Put your tail on concrete or a hard surface and the nose on grass/carpet. That way, you have a great pop and that your nose sinks into the surface to prevent your board slipping away. But make sure both surfaces are leveled.

  3. It takes some people along time to learn and some people its slower. I think you're doing pretty good. Keep practicing when you have the time. Then keep trying more advanced tricks.
