Question:

Need to know "recipe" for Crayola foam

I bought that outdoor Crayola Paint Foamer for my kids. It is sold EXCLUSIVELY at Target, according to Crayola. And, the refill for the foam/detergent solution is also sold exclusively at Target. Well guess what, I went to 3 Target stores, and no one carried the foam refill and even better than that, target.com does not have the foam refill either.

If anyone has a "recipe" or something I could make that would work the same, I would really appreciate it.

  1. If you were a chemist the solution would be a breeze.... but since you are not you might as well forget about even trying that-- secondly: if crayola knew that their products could be duplicated at the home they would be in sad shape financially.... so -you can forget about finding any kind of "recipe" for this foamer..

    Apparently the foamer has JUST been put out on the market and the Target stores have not gotten the orders in or have not put it on the inventory--- which makes me wonder how you got one in the first place

    "exclusive"  can be a double-edged sword in cases such as this.... and I am surprised that Crayola doesn't even have this on their own site

    I have found some foamers- both new and used on amazon.com --- but no refills

    my recommendation to this would be to put it away and find an alternative for your kids that can be found anywhere... such as sidewalk chalks and paint sets... it doesn't appear to me that this foamer is going to last on the market if they are not going to support it (it should not be this hard to find}
