Need to know what this means in terms of gcse grades?

Hey i just got my gcse results back and i got mostly c's but in my business i got a Q, and i dont know what a q is, does anyone know?

  1. My sister got a u on one of hers, it was either gcse or A level, it means unmarkable, maybe be q has a simalar meaning.look it up on the school exam board.

    edit: I looked it up and can't found a q, but you can get an x which means uncompleted so it could mean that.....ill put the site down in the sources list....hope it helps =]

    I know that anything to an N is actually pass but to get into colleges and stuff you need A*-Bs
