Not to sounds racist or anything.. but where I work, there are alot of hispanics. We have an office connected to a warehouse, and all the guys in the warehouse speak spanish. The HR girl that works at my company is also hispanic. I have been shut out so many times by this girl. I feel that it is because I do not speak spanish. She talks about everyone behind their backs in spanish, only gives help to the people in the warehouse, takes 3 hour long lunches in the break room with the guys from the warehouse. I have been given misinformation about my checks, all my information gets put in incorrectly just about every week, and I have been told that she gives people that she favors more hours on their checks.

Everyone in the office seems to notice it, but no one will say anything. I want to go to my HR headquarters in Kansas and complain, but I do not know how to go about it. I have e-mails showing the disrespect I get from her, name spelling wrong, misinformation, etc. Please help.

  1. You are going to have to research to find out who the corporate person is.  She is going to have to be reported.  Also, if you have proof of the discrimination, which is ILLEGAL in the work place, you can report your complaint to your local ACLU office and a labor lawyer.  If all else fails, get another job.

  2. Sadly you are in a tough situation. Depending on her standing with those over her. The end result of complaining may be the lose of your job. So long as the work headquarters is wanting done is being done they really don't care. I would start looking for a new job. Before complaining to headquarters how long have you been with the company vs how long she has been with the company. What level are you vs what her level is. HR in most companies is terrible they have their picks and if you are not one of them it is very hard to get anywhere. Unless you have VP level people who are very fond of you.
