I just had a baby a month ago. I gained 30lbs. during my pregnancy and it all came off on its own except for the last 5lbs. I would like to lose weight but don't know exactly where to start. I would like to drop those last 5lbs. plus about 20 more to get to my goal weight. I am not breastfeeding (because of meds I had to take after birth for a bad infection). The delivery was vaginal but it was very difficult... the baby's shoulders got stuck and I had to have an episiotomy after I began to tear. I have healed very well and now don't know where to start. I still can't do anything too strenuous but I would like to do something.

  1. Start walking, then jogging, then running. Eat healthy and you'll look great in no time (not to say you don't already).

  2. do some leg lifts, walk a lot, eat good, yoga

  3. Bikram yoga. do it. it will change your mind and body and life, just trust me. good luck.

  4. You could start on a little diet and walk half hour a day that should help. Cut back on sweets and pop. That could help.

  5. Walk and eat healthy

  6. Besides keeping a good diet, low impact exercises like walking, swimming, or yoga should be great for now.

After you have enough energy and have fully recovered and get the okay from your doctor you can start running on a treadmill or lifting weights.
