um...im 15 and have been playing tennis for 6 yrs and i dunno why bt a couple of months ago i at once forgot everything and i can barely do a forehand, and holding a racket feels really un-natural, and my coach keeps dissing me, shud i quit or just practise really hard to learn agen?

i have been meaning to start another sport even b4 i considered quiting tennis...but i dunno wat, maybe a dance lyk tap or jazz, or i cud join a soccer club? i dunno ,im really confused and dunnno wat to do anymore. bcoz ive never been excellent at sumting, always just ok at it. everybody i know has sumting they luv in their life and are really dedicated to it, even if its just play station, its wat they luv and they stick to it bt im so general and there are so many things to chose from and i luv it all.

  1. I totally understand where you are coming from... I found my two sports, dance and softball, that i just love to do and i'm not actually bad at =]. If you still enjoy tennis but you're just having a rough time, stick with it! I would probably suggest dance because it helps you with your strenght, flexibility, new friends, and its just plain fun! Dance could really help you with tennis and who knows? maybe you could actually make a career out of it =]! I take jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and pointe and i love all of it. But stick with tennis just a little bit longer but if you truly arn't having fun it isn't worth sticking with. Good luck!! and if you have any questions just ask =]

  2. i totally understand. i tried almost every sport but i stuck with dance and softball. last year i quit softball because i just was getting sick of it. i think that you should play tennis for maybe one more year but try dance or another sport too. you may enjoy it more and have it come easily to you. so i would stick with tennis for another year or so and try something else too.

  3. there is no reason why you should not try new things. try a couple of sports or hobbies and see which one works for you.
