I have lived in south eastern Mi. all my 46 years but there is no work for people here. My wife is an attorney but there are attorneys coming out of the wood work , she has applied for probably over 70 jobs but to no avail. It seams people want locals from that area and just out of law school (lower pay) she spent most of her 15 years as a prosecutor and is finding hard to start in private general practice. I have worked in automotive parts sales but that area is dead and also worked in a factory setting but all factories have or are closing with in driving distance .So gainfully we have not been employed in over 2 years .We have 11 and 9 year old children . Houses in our area has dropped about 20% over the last four years . There was a point when we said we could not sell and take a loss but now we are at the point of cut our losses and move to get on with our lives. But where ? What area of which states are good for us. ? Any help Please !!!

  1. Come to the greatest city in the world...

home to the greatest team in the world (Yankees) and the greatest people in the world (New Yorkers like me)

Its up to you, NEW YORK.....NEWW YOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!

If you dont move to New York you can kiss my New York *** and become a ******* Red Sux fan. And I'll yell 18-1 at you all ******* day!

  2. Well I live right across the border from you in Windsor, Ontario. The situation here is bad as well, but if you would be willing to, you could get a work visa and move to the province of Alberta where there are hundreds of high paying jobs, but if you don't want to there might be work in states that border Alberta. But the move might be hard on your children, moving so far away. But in Alberta there is a very large housing boom and there is work there but the price of living there is higher as well. But there are jobs surrounding all sorts of fields of work. I hope this helps you with find work.

  3. Have you checked  Seattle Washington? good climate good people.Boeing has factories  .Best of all its close to Canada  Check us out  see hellobc  and tourismvancouver

  4. Come to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas; we'd love to have you and the business market here is very strong.  We typically do not get hit hard here by trends that affect other parts of the country and there is no personal state income tax.  I used to live in Ann Arbor and have been here since 1977.

  5. The United States has something like 50 states.

Can't you just pick one of these 50?

  6. If you need to be in the states, I recommend the Chicago area, the Seattle area, the Boston area, the Dallas area, and the New York area. Any of those would suit you fine. If you don't have to live in the US, check out Vancouver or Calgary!
