  1. good on the subs, if you really want maximum performance out of your 2 subs you should get something atleast over 500 watts. You need 1 ground wire to a bare bolt on the trunk or something, and the wiring other than that doesnt really matter, as long as it is within the electrical range and can hookup to everything. Maybe you should think about a crossover for the subs. I think just 1 amp could fit in a system, i am not sure if you could put 2 amps in one unit, i suppose you could.

  2. info needed to PROPERLY match amps and subs

the subs voice coil setup (DVC or SVC)

    the subs impedance (ohms)

the final impedance at the amp (how the subs are wired)

    the number of subs

    the subs RMS (continuous) wattage

    or

    the model numbers

this link will help you with the wire size http://www.crutchfield.com/learn/learnin...

you need to find out the needed RMS wattage before you go hooking up amps to your subs

  3. who cares about the watts...all of you new kids on the block tryna buy these loud sound systems have alot to learn...u needn't concern urself with "watts" quite frankly it doesnt mean anything...focus more on wrms cos thats the max power which the amp or sub can handle...theres no point gettin an amp that has 2000 watts if it can only handle about 350 wrms....thats well over half its capacity waisted on wattage....u want something that has alot of watts yes, but alot of wrms aswell...dont be fooled by "watts" like every other person just breaking into the sound system industry
