Need to record sound?

Question

I have a tape I want to convert to an mp3. I have all the necessary equipment, but I don't know what software to use. Windows sound recorder isn't good enough (it only records a minute at a time.) For software, I have:

Nero smartstart

realtek

any suggestions?
