  1. try going to the groups homepage and unsubbing from there by clicking edit membership top middle of page near groups title- next page lower right corner click leave group- next page confirm by clicking Leave

unsubbing by mail does work, takes a very long time to go through

  2. Here is how you can unsub from a group:

    1.Try to unsubscribe through:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

2.. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. (GROUPNAME-owner@yahoogroups.com)

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

    3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

    4. Contact yahoo customer care:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  3. This is the easiest way to unsub from the group:

    Sign in to the group.

Near the top of page, click on "Edit Membership"

Scroll down  near  bottom right side of page and click "Leave Group".

Another page will come up asking if you are sure you want to leave the group.  Click on "Leave Group".

You will be instantly unsubscribed from the group. You may still receive a few more messages from the group and then no more will be sent to you.

  4. On your Yahoo home page on the left there is a list of services. Click groups. It will show your groups. Hit expanded view or manage I don't remember which and there will be boxes on the right to check off any you want to leave. Scroll down to the bottom and hit the save changes box.

You may receive messages for a few hours before it catches up.
