I was born an entreprenuer and I must tell you in all my years of experience I have yet to see a legitamit business model that does not require some type of start up cash. If you find one beware! they are probably setting you up to invest in alot of "tools"! AnnOnnyM has given you some good advice. I agree; always do your own research. To answer your question I do know of such a business, but it requires a bit of soul searching, and is not intended for everyone. However I do make a substantial income from it and recieve a check religously every month.  I have been involved over two years now. So yes, legitamit it is. Honestly the difference here is that the company is solid due to its unique and exclusive product. When you investigate most other companies you realize that there not more than a fancy name and empty promises. Eventually they go flat and you lose. This is because they never had a real product to market in the first place. Un-fortunately there are only so many ways to transfer information. As a result a good opportunity tends to be bundled up with the rest of the bunch and thrown away,based on assumptions. Why we do this? Well based on previous experiences and disappointments we tend to feel that we understand, what is being offered before it is, and if it is not a headline, chances are it is not worth hearing. This is a huge mistake, this type of attitude will only serve to limit your potential. It is like hearing the doorbell ring every time and ignoring it. Without knowing who is ringing it. It could have been the Prize Patrol from Publishers Clearing House, and you just lost the opportunity of a lifetime! Truth be told, it's like what Forest Gump says "life is a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get." There is no other way to find out other than to investigate every piece of chocolate until you find the one that you become passionate about. It is the same with opportunity.
