Need transportation from Rome to Civitavecchia Port to catch a Cruise on June 15th, 2008?

Anyone has any ideas on what's the best way to get to Civitavecchia Port from Rome? We will be staying in Rome on June 14th, 2008 and would like to see the city and enjoy the night life, and then on the 15th we need to get to the port of Civitavecchia to catch a Cruise... Any ideas? What's the best idea as far as Hotel for the 14th and transportation from the Airport in Rome to the Hotel, then transportation around Rome that night, and then transportation from hotel to Civitavecchia next day? Thank you

Or you can ask your cruise line if they provide transfers.

The port is  along way from Rome, about an hour, so be sure that in arranging your own transportation you give yourself plenty of time to get there.  Leave Rome by about 10:00 AM so you get to the port by noon for sure.
