  1. If you are using the two names as a first name, I would probably just use:

    - Amberly or Amberley

    - Amberleigh is cute

    - Amberlea I like, but will be said leah.

    good luck. SD

  2. my mom's middle name is lee

but i know one girl with the name amberly and she was one of the most hated people at my school

i hope yours doesnt turn out like that

and ive never met a nice amber (NOT SAYING NONE EXIST) but maybe your daughter can change that

  3. def. dont do 2 r's in my opinion

i wouldnt do amber-lea because it looks like it would be pronounced leah and not lee

    i like amber-leigh

  4. amberlee

    amberly****

    amber-lea

    amberlie********

    **** love it

    ******** love it even more!!!!

  5. I like Amber-Lea best!

  6. Amber-Lee is nice. That way you know how to pronounce it too. It's a nice name any way you spell it, though ;-)

  7. Amberr = NO!! Please do not do this to your child - many people will see this name typed out and assume it is a typo and try to fix. Also, no one will every spell it correctly. It is not cute, and looks cheap. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but it is my opinion (which you asked for when you posted your question - along with every other tom/d**k/harry and betty/jane/sue!)

Is this a first/middle name, or a combo? I prefer the first/middle idea, but am answering assuming that you are looking at this as a combo name, so here goes:

I prefer Amberlea (Amber Lea as a first/middle), as the Lea spelling means "Delicate", and the other two forms mean "meadow". So, this spelling could translate into something like "Delicate gemstone" - beautiful for a little girl :-)

Also, you could use Amberleah (Amber Leah) - also means "Delicate".

To me, the Lee spelling looks very masculine. I would avoid it unless it has some sentimental meaning to you. And Leigh just seems a bit to trying-to-be-trendy.

Best of luck with whatever you decision :-)

  8. 1st one

  9. Amber-Lee

  10. Amber-Leigh :)

  11. Amber-Lea

My favorite!  My middle name is Lee and I always hated spelling it that way!

  12. Please, don't hyphenate it. Try Amber Leigh, Amber being the first name and Leigh being the middle. That would be a lot better.

  13. Amber Lee is perfect, don't use a hyphen though! That makes it look tacky, without the hyphen it looks much more beautiul and elegant.

  14. I'm not a big fan of the two r's in the name...... too weird.....

    I would go with

    Amber-Lee

That's my favorite out of all the options

    :)

  15. Amber-Leigh

Definitely only one R in Amber

  16. i like lea, but it looks too much like leah, i think people would get confused.

  17. i love Amber-Leigh i love different names its unique i have a different spelled name and everyone says its pretty and different and how they like it so i pick that one

  18. Amberly

  19. Amber-Leigh, no question

  20. i like amberr-leigh

but it is annoying for her name to be spelled diffenretly than normal, so if nto that than i woudl just say

    amber-lee

  21. You dont want your kid going through life having to constantly spell out her name. Annoying for her and others.

  22. "amberr" ????

    Do Amber- Leigh
