Need your Opinion on this.. (4 people or more) plz?

For my final.. i have to collect responses to this statement:

Successful students at the universities live in residential halls!

Do you Agree or Disagree?.. ( try to wire a 7-10 sentence response, including examples and your persuasing reasons)

I would respond with a yes, especially the first year or two.  Last year, I was a freshmen at Georgia Southern University and lived in a residence hall.  I knew a few people that lived off campus in apartments, and the main difference seemed to be that, being on campus, you're much closer to classes and everything that's happening, so there's more pressure to take the two minute walk to class then to walk a good 10-25 minutes, or wait for the bus.  Also, if you're lucky to have a good hall monitor or close friends within the building in some of your classes, most students feel at least obligated to continue to go to classes to keep a decent self-image.  If anything else, most kids want to seem somewhat responsible around their friends and overseers.  You do, however, get students who just don't care, no matter who's around them, or how convenient everything is.  

I can honestly say, though, if you live in an apartment 10 minutes from class and the bar's only across the street, most likely the bar will win out.
