10 ANSWERS

  1. Resync your iPod with iTunes to remove songs.

You cannot transfer music to an iPod from WMP.  The iPod will not accept it.

  2. Plug in your ipod on your compt. then go to the music tab thing under it on itunes. RIght click on songs you don't want and click deleate.

  3. To erase songs from your iPod, simply plug it into your computer.  When it shows up in iTunes, just open the music menu from your iPod.  Click on any song you wish to delete and just hit the delete button on your keyboard.  Or you can right click on the song at chose delete from the menu that comes up.  Music from windows media player is in a different format than music from iTunes.  To get the same music into iTunes you must re-rip the music from the CD in iTunes.  Just insert the disc and iTunes should recognize it.  When it does it will ask you if you want to rip the CD.  There will be a button on the bottom right of the screen if it doesn't.  Hope this helps.

  4. To erase songs from your iPod, you must first find the song(s) you wish to delete under your iTunes.

    Then right-click and choose delete.

When you synchronize your iPod the song should be deleted.

As for putting music on from Windows Media Player, it gets slightly more complicated. The format of the music must be converted to AAC form.

To do this, open up the file and drag and drop it into your iTunes library like you would with any other song.

A messege will appear saying that it needs to be converted, and if your iTunes is updated it shuld give you an option to do so.

In some cases the format is 'locked' and cannot be changed this way. If that happens you will need to purchase a download that will change the format for you. An example is:

    www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

The final option is only valid if your songs came off a CD. If they did, you can open iTunes and automatically load them onto it.

    I hope this helps!

  5. right click the song and press delete. i think you could jus drag and drop from a wmp.

  6. just uncheck the song you want to erase on the main music menu once you pull itunes up from your computer.  or right click the song and click delete or remove.  then sync your ipod.

  7. take off the songs you dont want off of itunes and then sync your ipod

to get the songs from media player just drag the link/document for the song into itunes

    good luck :D

  8. you can erase the songs by plugging in your ipod to the computer and open the program you use to transfer the music..look for the songs on the ipod from your computer and then delete what you dont need...second, to transfer music from your windows media player, plug in your ipod to your computer and start windows media player. make sure you have the latest windows media player installed, so once the program opens up, look for Devices on the taps and select the ipod device and start transfering music to your device by dragging the music files to the column on the right to sync. Hope this helps
