Need your opinion on the slogan/saying I came up with for my boutique business ;)?

I am a swahm....trying to start my own business. I have sold on ebay and cl for a while but I want to get a little more busy and start branching out to local boutiques in my area. Anyway I specialize in creating childrens accessories (crochet hats, hair flowers, flip flops, tutus, bows etc) and my name is Gigglegum Designs. I'm trying to come up with a banner and logo for my etsy site and after playing around a bit I got "Some things in life are sweeter than candy!" My idea is everything I create will be packaged and sold as if it came right out of the candy store. In candy bags etc. So does that sound ok? Does it go?

Thanks :)

  1. Why don't you search existing logo sites to get ideas?

Here are some to try -

  2. I've heard a lot worse from big corporations who have payed hundreds of thousands to consultants for advice.

Another point I'd make is that while a good slogan is a bonus you'll stand or fall on the quality of your products, the price you sell them for and your ability to get people to look at them in the first place.

    Best of luck with it.

  3. Sounds terrific, so far.

Remember, stick to your guns as long as

you trust your intuition and receive what you

know as genuine feedback from supporters.

(Naysayers have always been with us, from the

bullyish in the schoolyard to those who wouldn't

appreciate creativity if it came from their own.

Never let their digs come near your absorption.)

One thing:  Consider talking to a handful of actual

Candy companies, probably those whose product

emanates a pleasant and distinct scent, w/o being

overbearing or too sweet.  Perhaps they'll want to

help as far as having their name along with their

product and/or inviting aroma included in some

of your packaging, to a degree which you both

    find agreeable.

I mean, you're out buying gasoline, right?  Every bit

helps, and who knows...maybe someone you speak

with might lead you to another whose connections

just happen to think your idea/direction has some

    amazing as-yet-unseen potential!

Perspective can be gained until then.

And this:  Sky and beyond pose flight, NOT "the limit"!!
