Need your respond for this question about art?

Question

Suppose you have done a completed art work (It can be anything). How would you evaluate that artwork? Were you successful? why or why not? what would you do differently if you had to the artwork over again?

Generally I put it away for a few days and then sneak up on it when it isn't expecting me. Usually I know right away then. It's never perfect, I'd always change or fix something but I can tell if it's basically right or just somehow wrong.
