Question:

Needing Indoor Exercises ?

Past three days I've been really good about walking two miles each day. But today it's a scorching 117 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and I'm already overheated because our AC is broke. So I decided to skip the walk tonight, but I kinda feel bad, so I'm wanting to do some exercises indoors. Plus it would be nice to have some for rainy days as well, since this is Hurricane season.

Any ideas would be lovely. Thanks!

  1. Buy a Wii. It's very easy to use and keeps you moving, in the AC =)

  2. skipping is a good cardio if you have a rope

  3. Jumping jacks are excellent cardio but you have to do them for a while. If you've been walking the past few days it might be time to change it up a little, maybe do some crunches, push-ups, etc. Those are all easily done indoors. Or go to the library and rent an aerobics video. I really love the ones from the 80s (like Jane Fonda) because the workouts are just as good and the people look absolutely hilarious.
