  1. Yorkshire is a big county - can you narrow it down to a town?

If you're looking at the Leeds area - there is a good Greek restaurant called The Olive Tree which is quite famous (will do vegetarian and vegan dishes)  It's in Headingley - a nice/upmarket suburb of Leeds

  2. I know a number of restaurants that do vegetarian meals alongside meaty/fishy dishes, with some grand ones in Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire, but I don't know of any that cater for Vegans.

As a previous answerer said - can you narrow down the area you're looking for, as Yorkshire is a big place.

  3. There is an absolutely amazing restaurant called Hitchcocks in Hull (not exactly a village, but it's worth the smoke!).

The first person to book on the night picks the theme (eg. indian, italian, chinese, british, spanish.... any theme you want, I went once and it was scottish!!).  Then you get your starter brought out to you and then for your main course it's an all you can eat buffet.  The food is amazing and it's so much nicer that you don't have to worry there might be meat in it!.  Then the desserts..... even more amazing.  Yet again all you can eat, you can have as much and as many different desserts as you would like.  The other cool thing is you can take your own bottle of wine, they just charge you £1 to cork it and for glasses for your party.

  4. why dont you have a baked potato with veg curry instead of searching for a restaurant.
