  1. A-Level?

English is a foreign language?  If so, well done.  If not, English is not for you.

Accounting is usually an emphasis within Business School.

Your first semester's classes should be carefully managed to include all your prereq's. for math and business classes.  Use core classes to fill in the blanks.

Make sure you really get those base classes down so you have a solid foundation for upper division.

If you still conclude accounting is for you after year one, apply for summer internships with good accounting firms and then perhaps as a co-op student with them.  That will give you excellent experience, show industry and get your foot in the door.  Make sure you do a great job for them and never slack.

If you can work without sacrificing grades, get a part time book keeping job for a small company.

In the meantime, you should watch your cap's and attention to writing detail.  Accountants are sticklers for the details.  That is not a dig, merely an observation.

    Good luck.

  2. banking, accountant, but you can always expand your horizon
