  1. For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  2. to clear the sites from ur address bar

if ur using internet explorer then go to the tools menu in the menubar and click on Internet Options menu, then u get a dialog box click on the clear history button this will do

if ur using mozilla firefox the go to the tools menu click on the clear private data and click on the clear private data now button this will clear all the sites from ur addressbar

  3. Click on the little arrow at the right end of the search box.  If you get a list of websites you've searched for, place the cursor over the top one, but don't click on it.  Now hit your Delete key.  If the top item in the list disappears, just keep hitting the Delete key until they're all gone.
