Needs Some Company To Employ Me!?

Question

I am 30 with 4kids. Since the birth of my last child, I have not been able to be employed. It has been a year since I last quit my job. I even went through resume consultants and all are ok. Yet I am still unemployed. Know of anywhere require someone like me who enjoy a dynamic and challenging job?

Firstly, you need to define what is work to you and why you want to work. For most people, work is to put the bread on the table for yourself and in your case, family as well. Commonly, most people trade their skills or time or energy in exchange for money. This common approach have not been change until now.

Secondly, Know your self strength and sell your strength during your interview for the benefit of the company. Tell the interviewer, what the company can expect from your experience.

Thirdly, what is your attitude towards work and people's relationship. Are you a team worker or solo warrior? are you a team leader as well? Sell this point during the interview as well.

Could i just put forth the fact for you that the experience gain previously is no longer the main selling point in employment nowadays. Same goes to the workers and company's loyalty. It kinda hard to find a company that will continue to pay your retirement fund or pension after you retired today. That's the fact. Everyone is easily been laid off and world economic is changing rapidly. The skill learned last year may not be relevent in the next 5 year. This is just my thought as I goes into the working world. I'm not against working for people or company BUT felt compelled to share this thoughts to you.

Here in Singapore, one must not be picky with one's job hunt. If you are picky, no one will emply you. It also depends on your qualifications. My advise is not to put any qualifications or skills in your resume if you do not have them.....

Depends on ur qualifications.....n..if ur picky anot...

From wat i noe...the service industry is in constant need for staff....the pays not too high though...

Since you're only 30 with international diploma and several years of working experience and not very picky about jobs, I'm very sure you'll be able to get a job within the next 3 months. You need to be more proactive not laid back. Here are some sites where you can sources for jobs.
